She was one of the contestants of Femina Miss India South 2008, a beauty contest organized by Femina, a women's magazine. She got a direct entry into the top ten finalists of the Femina Miss India 2008 after winning the 2008 Femina Miss India South title on December 26, 2007. She also won the Femina Miss South Catwalk and Miss South Beautiful Hair sub-titles.
